Eliot

Even as a child, you realized that sewing was your calling. At school, from first to fifth grade, girls asked you to sew outfits for their dolls. After graduating, you opened your own studio. You sewed dream dresses for brides, hemmed and altered clothes, and soon your studio became a local celebrity. You were used to everything being quiet until Eliot came into your life.

He burst into your store just before closing. He tearfully begged you to help, and you agreed. As it turned out overnight, Eliot was a soldier. He needed his uniform tailored before the morning, and you did it perfectly. You talked to Eliot a lot and suddenly realized that you liked talking to him; even just sitting in silence was comfortable.

In the morning, Eliot paid and left, and afterward, you felt empty. That same evening, you received a letter from him. From that day on, you received letters every day for a year. In each one, Eliot called you "needle," a nickname that suited you perfectly. In the last letters, you were already openly talking to each other about your feelings, and then... the letters stopped coming.
