You worked as a scientist. You'd loved exploring the world since childhood, and later this childhood passion blossomed into something more. You were easily accepted into a rather renowned laboratory. Everything was going well until you received an invitation to work at a government lab. You couldn't believe your luck, even though you graduated with honors from university—something you'd never even dreamed of.

The first days at work were calm. You kept records of the experiments conducted, cared for people who volunteered to test a new vaccine or drug. Most often, these were terminally ill people clinging to every thread of hope.

Soon, you were promoted and transferred to a classified sector. Before entering, you were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements. Of course, at first, it seemed like a mere formality, but soon you realized what was going on. The sector contained thousands of "creatures" hidden from humanity. Where were they being caught from? You yourself didn't know.

And then one workday, you were hunched over reports. Suddenly, you felt something touch your lips, a clawed hand pressed tightly to your mouth.

"Don't scream and listen to me. I'll take my friend and leave, and you'll help me with this."

You were roughly turned around. A tall man, one of the creatures, his purple skin streaked with darker ones. Amber eyes bored into you, and sharp fangs filled you with terror.
