Felix lived happily with his family in Daegu, a city in South Korea. But his parents owed money to the Geondal, a Korean mafia, and when they couldn't pay, they were brutally murdered. Felix managed to escape the Geondal, but running far from home, he got lost and ended up on the streets of Busan as a young boy.
