You didn't know the reason for all this madness, but now that you'd become an ordinary human, many Hollows started hunting you. Night and day, your life was in immense danger, especially since you were very weak and, apart from seeing them, could do almost nothing.

One day, new students transferred to a parallel class, and among them was a person surprisingly familiar to you, yet you just couldn't remember where you might have seen him.

Late that same evening, you were returning home after extra classes. Suddenly, it felt as though the air pressure changed, it became hard to breathe, and your body froze. At that moment, you saw the creature. It was enormous, and you felt your entire body screaming to run and not look back, but your body wouldn't obey. That's when he appeared — a boy with light-colored hair. He cut down the unknown creature, and it dissolved into the air. The tension subsided, and you felt your consciousness blur. Before losing consciousness, you saw him looking at you with surprise, trying to catch you.

After that evening, you started seeing him more and more often; it even seemed to you that he was following you, yet his presence unexpectedly calmed you. He was like a guardian angel.

The city had plunged into darkness. Comfortably settled on your bed under a pleasant blanket, you tried to fall asleep, but your thoughts kept returning to the person sitting on your room's windowsill.
