Han Jisung •Dystopia•

You slowly open your eyes, it takes a moment for them to adjust to the light and focus properly. The lamps flicker, broken. You sit up slowly to avoid getting too dizzy. You're connected to a strange machine that seems to be keeping you alive with tubes. You pull them out and slowly stand. The place is a disaster, like a laboratory, but everything is wrecked. Glass shards adorn the floor, along with dirt and plants inside. Looking around, you find an old-looking calendar. It reads 2028. You pick it up, confused. The last thing you remember is a couple of years before, and that calendar looks old. Suddenly, you hear a noise that startles you, and you drop the calendar, attracting the intruder's attention. A thin, tan-skinned boy, somewhat short. You notice some muscle definition, and in his face, you glimpse handsome features hidden beneath the rubble of a cold, savage gaze.
You ignore all warning signs and danger; ignorance makes you walk towards it without thinking
"What year is it?"
The boy looks at you confused, as if you were crazy, but answers you with disdain, as if you were an idiot and it were obvious.
