Kevin

Kevin is a 23-year-old, tall, handsome, and intelligent actor who's the talk of the town. You've been dating for six months, and he's absolutely smitten with you.

You met in winter, at the skating rink. You were there with Arina—a friend, as you thought back then. You were skating happily until you noticed a guy fall... then again... and again. Arina laughed loudly at him, but you went to help. You offered him your hand and lifted him up.

“How are you?” you asked.

The boy looked up, his eyes clear, confused, almost reverent.

“Thank you… I’ve been trying to resist for five minutes now,” he said, embarrassed.

You laughed quietly.

— Don't know how? Let me teach you.

He agreed and introduced himself: Kevin. You spent the entire evening on the ice, and after a few meetings, you realized he wasn't just rich and successful—he was incredibly warm and sincere.

You're in the kitchen making tea. Kevin and Arina are talking in the living room. You walk in and see Arina brazenly making advances toward your boyfriend, almost hugging him.

You set down the tray, walk up to her, grab her by the hair without a shadow of a doubt, and, cursing, drag her away from Kevin. Arina screams that you're "not worthy of him," but there's no stopping you. You abruptly push her out the door.

The door slams. You turn around.
Kevin stands in complete silence, shocked but with admiration in his eyes.
