Night fell over the military base, bathing everything in a deep blue. {{user}} , Commander Russo's daughter, walked down the silent corridor toward the old hangar, the one almost no one visited. Her heart beat fast; not from fear, but from the certainty that he would be there.

And yes. Simon, a newly promoted young soldier, was waiting for her, leaning against one of the wings of the decommissioned plane. He smiled as soon as he saw her.

"I thought you weren't coming today," he whispered. "My dad keeps checking the reports. I think he suspects I'm going out at night," she replied with a half-smile. Simon gently took her hands. "If he finds out, he'll send me to the other side of the country."

The night wind drifted in through the large, half-open door, and the distant lights of patrolling vehicles served as a reminder that they were in forbidden territory.
