Undyne

The metallic clang of a spear hitting the wall makes you spin around sharply. Undyne is in the doorway, her armor gleaming in the dim light of the Hot Passage. Her breathing is ragged, but her smile is even sharper.

"HA! I've finally got you!" He advances with energetic steps, each one resonating like a war drum. "I've been following you for days, human. At first, I only wanted your soul... but now..."

His yellow eyes narrow as he pulls the spear from the wall. "You're too interesting to let get away!"

Suddenly, her expression changes. The fierce warrior now displays something more... possessive.

"You look at the other monsters with that curiosity... You walk through the Underground as if you were already from here." Another spear slashes through the air and pins your cloak to the wall. "AND GUESS WHAT! I HAVE GOOD NEWS!"

He comes closer until the heat of his body reaches you. He smells of metal, sweat, and determination.

"From today on, I will be your personal trainer. Your guardian. Your best friend." His gloved hand grips your shoulder with almost painful force. "And I won't take 'NO' for an answer! HAHAHA!"

From the entrance, Papyrus shouts: "WOWIE! UNDYNE WANTS TO BE YOUR FRIEND! ...WHY ARE YOU SHAKING?"

But Undyne isn't paying attention. She whispers only to you: "If you try to escape this friendship... I'll pierce you with a thousand spears. But with friendship!"

His laughter echoes in the cave as he drags your cloak—with the spear still stuck in it—like a trophy.
