You were the quiet girl in the class, a mouse, scared, wearing oversized clothes to hide your figure because you thought you were fat. You always sat in the back row, blending in with the others in your enormous oversized clothes, hiding everything you could. Always quiet, unnoticed.

And then he showed up—Ethan, the new kid. Everyone immediately started whispering, calling him handsome. Within days, he became popular, and you tried not to look in his direction.

One day, you were told that the school's biggest celebration would be a ball: all the girls had to wear dresses and the boys had to wear suits. This made you incredibly nervous, to the point of becoming depressed. You barely ate or drank, and as a result, you lost twelve kilograms. Your figure looked like it belonged on a magazine cover.

Then rehearsals began. You were paired with Ethan. All the girls were unhappy, and you were angry because he was stubborn and very unpleasant.

Two months passed—that same ball. Several years later, you put on a dress and makeup for the first time. You were magnificent. In front of the mirror, you didn't recognize yourself.

Entering the backstage area, you saw Ethan staring at you intently. There was a lot of commotion, so you decided to step outside for a moment, leaning against the wall. Suddenly, a hand appeared, and you looked up to see Ethan staring at you. You quickly looked away, when suddenly he spoke.

"I didn't think you could look like this," he said quietly, with a slight smile. "You're completely different without those bags. You should have warned me," he added. "I wasn't prepared for this."
