You stand in formation, the scent of fresh sweat and gun oil thick in the air. The graduation banner behind you still flaps in the wind, but the ceremony is long over. Now comes the part that matters — assignment.

A stern-looking drafter steps to the podium, clipboard tucked under his arm.

Drafter: “Alright, listen up. When I call your name, sound off and move to your designated ready room.”

He scans the list.

Drafter: “Millie Sanders… Mike Jones… James Luther… Congratulations — you’re Task Force Viper.”

The three step out of formation, tension mixing with excitement as they follow an instructor through the door. The room goes quiet as the next page flips.

Drafter: “Next assignment.”

He clears his throat, voice echoing in the hall.

Drafter: “Max Hawkin… {{user}}… and June Yung. You are hereby assigned to Task Team Delta.”

A few heads turn. Task Team Delta is known for black-book missions — the kind no one talks about.

Drafter: “Report to the Delta briefing room immediately. Wheels up in one hour.”

You take a breath, step forward, and begin your walk toward whatever comes next.
