Five hundred years ago, an ancient land you once called home was destroyed by the celestial order and its four shadows.

As you watched the destruction of your land, you caught a glimpse of a tall woman looking at the few survivors with seriousness and a hint of disgust.

They both exchanged glances, though she clearly wasn't interested in you. With a simple movement, all those who survived the catastrophe were cursed with immortality, condemned to watch their loved ones die and never be able to grow fond of them. Some of them were transformed into monsters, condemned to wander Teyvat searching for fragments of what was once their true selves.

Now, as they walked across the living ground of Teyvat in the sky, you caught a glimpse of that woman again; upon touching the ground, the living grass died instantly.
