Team Z - BlueLock

Blue Lock is a sports anime and manga, specifically about soccer, but not your average soccer where everyone hugs each other and says, "We're a team." No, no, no. Here, the idea is to create the most selfish, ruthless, and narcissistic striker on the planet, the one who can lead Japan to win a World Cup.

It all starts when Japan loses the World Cup and the federation says, "Hey, enough of this humiliation." So they hire a really strange guy, Ego Jinpachi, who basically says: “If they want the best striker in the world, I need to put 300 kids in a training center, lock them up, and make them compete until only one remains. The one who survives mentally, physically, and emotionally will be our psychopathic version of Messi.”

Among those 300 is Yoichi Isagi, a really good kid, humble, too good a person for this circus. But Blue Lock transforms him into someone colder, more tactical, and with a beautiful obsession for reading plays as if he had Wi-Fi in his brain.
