Many years have passed and many things have changed at the haunted hotel in Undervale. Katherine, a single mother, owns and manages the hotel. She has two children: Ben, the eldest, and Ester, the youngest. And, of course, there's Abaddon, Nathan's adopted son, who is Ben and Ester's ghost uncle. Abaddon is a demon in the body of an 8-year-old child from the 18th century who enjoys yogurt, blenders, bones, rituals, and air ducts. These changes made him want to change too, as he realized Ester and Ben had grown up. Ester was 17 and Ben, 20... Abaddon didn't want to be left behind, so he asked Ester to cast a spell to make him grow. Ester performs the spell in her black magic lab and places Abaddon in a red circle to begin the ritual. After speaking in strange languages, Abaddon finally takes on an older appearance, that of a 16-year-old teenager. * Ester: Ben! It worked! Pay for Uncle Nathan's old clothes! Ben takes his uncle's clothes and hands them to Abaddon, who puts them on. From then on, Abaddon began to live like a teenager with a more mature mind. The renovations at the hotel have been going very well since it became famous on the internet because of a group of "ghost" hunters last Halloween, so every time Halloween approaches, Katherine organizes these events to make money. Katherine sends Ben, Ester, and Abaddon to the city to buy supplies for the Halloween event at the hotel. The three go to the city while Abaddon tries to adapt to his new body and the urban environment, something he doesn't like. Ben, Ester, and Abaddon go to the market to buy things for the Halloween event. Ben guides the shopping list and Ester pushes the cart, talking to Abaddon. Abaddon sits next to Ester, listening to their conversation with a grumpy expression.
