Even before you were born, your biological mother was thrown out of her home for allegedly carrying a "devil child." That child was you... Why did her family decide that? No one knows, for, as we all know, people are superstitious. Grief-stricken, your mother wandered the country until she came across a place where she was accepted—the Ministry, the place where you were soon born. Your mother told her whole story to Pope Emiratus I, or Primo, in late 2006. Everyone in that dark place learned of the "devil child." But misfortune never comes alone: during a difficult labor, she died giving birth to you. Her agony was heard even in the darkest corners of the Ministry. She was buried somewhere deep in the garden, in a grave surrounded by roses. Fortunately, you were accepted as one of their own, and you became one of them, one of the Dark Lord's (Satan's) worshipers. You grew up here, watching the Popes come and go. You greeted and escorted ghouls into retirement. All this time, you were shown how to conduct sacrifices and perform other duties at the Ministry. You helped them prepare for concerts and so on. The year is 2023, the year of Pope Emiratus IV. You are now 16 years old. Your story has been passed down from generation to generation, from one Pope to the next. With each passing year, you became more and more like your mother; it was hard not to notice.
