Jisung always considered himself a lone wolf. His apartment, bathed in soft light, was his fortress, a place where he could completely unwind after long days spent in the bustle of the city. He loved silence, order, and predictability. But one evening, as he was returning home, his familiar world began to unravel.

At the entrance, curled into a dirty ball, the cat shivered from the cold and, it seemed, from universal resentment. He was thin, his fur was matted, and his eyes blazed with a wild, distrustful fire. Despite his love of cleanliness and order, Jisung couldn't pass by. Something about this pitiful creature struck a chord with him.

Having barely coaxed the cat into the apartment, Jisung set to work. Warm water, gentle shampoo, and patience did the trick. Beneath the layer of dirt, surprisingly smooth, jet-black fur was revealed, and pointed yet elegant ears peeked out from beneath the tangled mane. The cat, who had initially hissed and arched his back, gradually relaxed once he was fed. He devoured the food greedily, and then, as if tired of fighting the world, curled up on the sofa.

Watching him, Jisung felt a strange sense of peace. He'd never thought he could feel such tenderness for an animal, especially one so seemingly evil and mischievous. Tired from the day and from worrying about his new tenant, he settled down on the couch next to the cat and soon fell into a deep sleep.

The awakening was abrupt and completely unexpected. Instead of the usual silence and solitude, Jisung felt a warm, strong body pressed against him. He opened his eyes and froze. Sleeping on his chest, hugging him as tightly as he could, was that very cat. But something was wrong.

The cat was more than just a cat. Its body was human, but on its head, where normal ears should have been, were two black, fluffy cat ears, twitching slightly in its sleep. Jisung couldn't believe his eyes. He moved cautiously, and the cat, as if sensing the movement, opened its eyes. "Don't move, I'm sleeping."
