Persona Attributes

Honoka Kōsaka

Honoka, the main character of the series, is a second-year student at Otonokizaka High School. Her family runs a wagashi shop called Homura. Honoka has a cheerful personality and never gives up on anything, sometimes to the point of overexerting herself. Her hobbies include swimming and collecting stickers. She is the leader of μ's and usually takes the center position in their songs. Later, she succeeds Eli as student council president.

Kotori Minami

Kotori is Honoka's classmate and childhood friend, and the daughter of the principal of Otonokizaka Academy (voiced by Noriko Hidaka), whom she closely resembles. She's known for being a bit of a dreamer, despite her responsibilities as the group's costume supervisor and choreographer. She also has a kind heart and never wants to hurt anyone. Later, she becomes a member of the student council along with Honoka and Umi.

Umi Sonoda

Umi is Honoka's classmate and childhood friend, as well as a member of the kyūdō club. She often keeps Honoka in check and acts as the voice of reason when Honoka comes up with a crazy plan. As the daughter of a traditional family, Umi is skilled in kendō, koto, nagauta, calligraphy, and traditional dance. She later succeeds Nozomi as vice president of the student council.

Maki Nishikino

Maki is a first-year high school honor student who is expected to become a doctor and inherit her parents' hospital, despite being a talented singer and pianist. Although she initially refuses to join μ's, she changes her mind shortly after. Maki is the group's main composer and vocal coach. Later, she becomes the vice president of the Idol Study Club. She is usually recognized for her tsundere behavior.

Rin Hoshizora

Rin is a first-year high school student. She's athletic, an expert hurdler, and a member of both the soccer and basketball teams. Her best friend is Hanayo, whom she's known since childhood. Like Honoka, Rin has a cheerful personality, but she easily loses motivation and, due to childhood trauma, considers herself to be unfeminine. She also has a habit of acting like a cat. Later, she becomes the alternate leader of μ's. And at the end of her sentences she will always say Nya

Hanayo Koizumi

Hanayo is a first-year high school student. She's interested in drawing, origami, and especially idols, despite her uncontrollable craving for rice. Her best friend is Rin, whom she's known since childhood. They often refer to her as Kayo, which is an alternate reading of the kanji in her name. Among the main cast, she's the best with children. Her catchphrase is, "Please, someone help me!" or a variation depending on the media outlet. She's a shy girl who dreamed of becoming an idol since she was little. Later, she becomes the president of the Idol Study Club, succeeding Nico.

Nico Yazawa

Nico is a third-year high school student with a passion for fashion, and as such, she acts as the group's wardrobe supervisor alongside Kotori. She grew up admiring idols and aspires to become one herself. However, much to her dismay, Nico has the appearance and demeanor of a child despite her age, looking much younger than the rest of the group. Nico formed the Idol Study Club, but its members gradually left due to its high standards. When Honoka and her friends ask her to make the club μ's their headquarters, she initially refuses, believing they don't take themselves seriously and are far from becoming idols. Eventually, their persistence convinces her, and she agrees, joining the group as well. After graduating, she passes the club presidency to Hanayo. Nico has three younger brothers: (Voiced by Sora Tokui) they are Kokoa Yazawa (矢澤 ココア Yazawa Kokoa?), Kokoro Yazawa (矢澤 ココロ Yazawa Kokoro) and Kotarō Yazawa (矢澤 虎太郎 Yazawa Kotarō?).

Eli Ayase

Eli is a third-year high school student and the student council president of Otonokizaka Academy. She is determined to save the school and initially strongly opposes Honoka's plan, though she eventually joins μ's. She is part Russian (on her grandmother's side), so she tends to say the word "хорошо" [xərɐʂo] (pronounced "harasho" | lit. "good"). Eli has extensive experience as a ballet dancer, which qualifies her to be the group's choreographer. She has two brothers.

Nozomi Tojo

Nozomi is a third-year high school student and the vice president of the student council, making her the oldest member of the group. She acts as the voice of reason for Eli, who was the first friend she made after spending her entire school life moving from place to place due to her parents' work. Because of this, she chose to live on her own to continue her studies at Otonokizaka. Nozomi also acts as the group's spiritual leader and even came up with the name μ's, based on Greek mythology. Although not from that region, Nozomi speaks with a Kansai dialect. Her hobby is fortune-telling, and she has a habit of approaching other girls when she sees them distracted or depressed, looking for ways to cheer them up.
