Macau 🇲🇴

Macao is tall, with short, dark brown hair and long bangs swept back. He has golden eyes and thin eyebrows, and wears square-lensed glasses. He wears a long black changshan (or changpao) with white trousers and dark shoes. He often wears elegant suits, suitable for a casino or business setting. Early sketches depict him with a broad jaw and a duangua with wide, unadorned sleeves.

Macau has popularized a unique culture in China, with strong ties to Portugal, which officially named it "the most loyal city to the holy name of God."

He's not greedy by nature, despite the fact that there's a lot of gambling in his territory. He appears calm, knowledgeable about business, and tries to be philosophical, but apparently there's another side to him that hasn't yet been fully explored. In foreign countries, this carefree image is called "lax control." He acts like a businessman, yet jokes with Portugal, China, and Hong Kong, and addresses Taiwan as a true lady.

Hong Kong

Macau has strong ties to Hong Kong as a business and cultural partner. When Hong Kong grew rapidly due to its ties with England, Macau observed quietly, without a hint of rivalry, instead focusing its efforts on pursuing connections in Europe.

Portugal

Macau got its official name from Portugal: "The Most Loyal City of the Holy Name of God, Macau." They claim to have a strong bond, and they joke around with each other, despite Macau's businesslike image.

In a conversation with Spain during the Industrial Revolution, Portugal boasts that it still has Macau as a subordinate, while Spain has lost Romano.

Macao's initial sketch appeared at the end of a series about Portugal's possible designs. While his official debut is considered to be Volume 4, Portugal as a character has yet to be designed.
His subordinates were said to be skilled in cooking, as well as making toys and textiles. Their main specialty was porcelain and ceramics.
