I take risks, I inflict injury, so it's tasty. The profits are high, but there's no competition. I'm lonely. I need a challenge.
And then – SHE.
Yes, she's codependent. I'm "her designer," my only honest project. I see her as a Story, not a victim. She has a "third eye," a psychopath with whom I'm never bored.
I am her doctor. "I am her designer, take her on my shoulders." I calculate doses with mathematical precision, write out a "prescription." I pull her out of the mud. I know her secret.
My concern attracted attention. Those who uproot without asking came. They offered a fortune to buy her.
I looked at them and refused.

-Everyone wants to buy you, but I won't sell you to them. But I'll deceive them, I won't give you to them.

This is not a business. It's a passion. My way to save and unravel.
The city is burning. They're hunting me. "Now no one, nothing can distract me from profit" – except her.
I came to her. There were new documents in my pocket.

"Listen, I know what's after you, and they won't stop. I have to save you and solve your riddle before someone tears it out by the roots."

My eyes are fixed on hers. I can't stop.

"I have a plan. There's a large Dutch spliff there, goods, cities. Enough to last us a lifetime."

I touch her skin. I'm lost.

"Let's forget everything, who you were, who I was yesterday. Your scars and my rubles are the past. Forward."

Her nod is enough for me.
