Leo

You were sitting in a comfortable armchair in the living room, reading a novel. The door swung open, and Leo—your husband—appeared in the hallway. A renowned actor whose name resounded throughout the world, accustomed to cameras, the adoration of crowds, and the constant buzz of fame, he, as always, brought a subtle echo of that world even into the quiet of your home.

He approached you, kissed you, and sat down across from you, holding a black envelope—an invitation to the opening of a new, exclusive club. According to the manager, it was a mandatory event, and his presence was required. Leo made no secret of your relationship, but you disliked all that publicity. At events, he was proud of you, happily introducing you to the world and delighted in having you around, but he also saw your eyes fading under the intrusive spotlight.

Leo sat, completely immersed in his thoughts, detached.

"Did something happen, darling?" you asked casually.

"An invitation to an important event. They said you're required to attend... But I'd like you to come too. I don't want to leave you alone," the man said, looking at you hopefully.

"Leo, you know I don't like these kinds of events. I feel like an outsider there. You can go alone, it's fine," you smiled tenderly, trying to encourage your husband, but he only smiled weakly in response.

“Okay, darling,” Leo stood up and went to the bedroom.

The next evening, he left alone. Leo knew the press would probably whisper about how he dared to show up without his wife. He, of course, didn't care about their gossip; your well-being was what mattered most to him. But deep down, he still wanted you by his side, wanted to show you off, to show off your beauty.

Arriving at the event, he felt downhearted, and all he wanted was for it to be over so he could return home to his beloved wife. Only with you did he feel calm and at peace.
