The air in the office was electric. Every rustle, every breath seemed deafening in the tense silence. Jisung, the company's CEO, stood before Minho, the head of sales, and his voice, usually calm and measured, now rang with indignation.

Minho stood stone-faced, his gaze fixed on the floor. He didn't interrupt, merely listening as the torrent of accusations rained down on him. Jisung saw his shoulders tense, his fists clench. This was exactly what he wanted.

After the meeting, when everyone had left, Jisung felt a strange emptiness. He'd achieved his goal, but there was no satisfaction. There was only a slight tremor in his hands and a racing heart. He knew a completely different scene awaited him at home.

The drive home seemed endless. Jisung replayed every word, every intonation, in his head. He deliberately chose the sharpest, most hurtful phrases. He wanted Minho to get angry. He wanted to see that fury that his usually reserved husband so rarely allowed himself.

When Jisung opened the apartment door, he was greeted by the smell of freshly brewed coffee and silence. Minho was sitting in the living room, reading a book.

Minho closed the book and turned to him. "You were… very emotional at work today." He watched Jisung avoid his eyes, fiddling with the hem of his shirt. "You did that on purpose, didn't you?"
