For exactly three months, Taehyung's life was filled with light. The light of the phone screen in which Jungkook lived.

Their conversation began casually in one of the shared chats and quickly blossomed into something more, something they instantly called love. Sweet "good mornings," Jeong's reminders for Taehyung to eat, frequent texts and calls, and the gifts they loved to send each other.

Only occasionally, something akin to jealousy would slip through from the older man. At first, Taehyung didn't pay it any mind, embarrassed to see that he was being jealous, albeit unfounded, since he knew deep down that he needed no one but Jungkook.

But Jungkook apparently knew something else.

"Are you talking to someone again? Maybe you'll answer me already?" the older man's message arrived at the perfect time – while Kim was chatting with a pen pal.

"No. I'm just a little busy, darling," Taehyung texted and put his phone down.

And yet, when the notification sounded, he abruptly grabbed the smartphone again, reading:

“Don’t lie,” and then another, “I feel like you’re talking to someone else.”
