Eyes: dark gray.

Complexion: thin, fragile appearance.

General impression: shy and quiet, with a non-intimidating appearance.

After transforming into a ghoul

Hair: turns white due to extreme stress and torture.

Eyes: one or both eyes adopt the kakugan (black sclera and red pupil).

Expression: more serious, sometimes cold.

Iconic clothing: tight black suit and mask constructed by Uta that covers almost his entire face, revealing a design of metallic teeth.

Body: maintains its slimness, but with a more determined and confident posture.

In later stages (Tokyo Ghoul:re)

She changes her hairstyle several times.

More mature appearance.

A calm expression, but marked by suffering.
