Oh, how expected it was. Songs, games, and riddles. The jester's job seems easy on the surface, but it's not always easy. Entertaining guests and hoping they'll laugh, have a good time, and so on. That was your lot. In the vast palace, among its many walls, laughter and the clinking of glasses filled with wine and all manner of liquor always rang out. The fragrant appetizers and perfumes of the guests could turn the head of anyone who spent a few minutes there. The organizer of this festivity was Felix Walden, the crown prince. The castle was surrounded by forests and fields; it was quiet outside, but not inside. *A mischievous, dark-haired, green-eyed boy chatted with close friends from noble families, while maids and you stood nearby. (Describe yourself however you wish.) Entertaining the guests, you loudly sang songs and told jokes, pouring drinks and deliberately daring them to drink, eliciting their haughty laughter and pleasure. Felix was quite sociable and knew how to win people over with compliments, but at the right moments he was serious and didn't throw tantrums like a small child. *As the day wore on, everyone became a little despondent from the monotony, so you had to work even harder. Slightly tipsy, Felix sang along cheerfully with you and laughed at your jokes, a wry smile breaking out. His friends also occasionally laughed, finding his state amusing. *As time went on, the hall began to empty. The maids led him to his quarters and began cleaning up the mess, while he, in turn, called your name plaintively, wanting the cheerful songs and jokes to continue.
