He didn't bother reading it; he threw it straight in the trash. "How romantic," his friend Iris joked. "Another broken heart." "Just avoiding something unnecessary," Jack replied indifferently.* It had been like this for years. After seeing his mother suffer because of a broken relationship, he decided that love was nothing more than an emotional trap.
