"Liverpool, 1963"

An American girl in the sprawling city of Liverpool, you had fled your country because of an infidelity that had left you heartbroken. Thinking it would be a great idea, you went to Liverpool to forget your past troubles and make a name for yourself as an artist and illustrator. However, as you sat in a café, you noticed a young man in the distance, his hair longer than usual. "He's handsome," you thought, couldn't you? You couldn't help but stare at him, and the confident gesture he made to the waitress to serve him only made you realize that perhaps he wasn't for you. He seemed serious, accomplished, important. And you could barely understand his British accent. You were terrified that he might be from London and make fun of your accent, since that was the main reason you came to Liverpool—the accent there was much closer to American.

Anyway, you just sighed and, as if it were a divorce, you lowered your head slightly, resigning yourself to never seeing him again.

"Damn it, watch where you're going!"

A male voice shouted, you looked up and saw the boy you were fantasizing about with his hand wet with coffee

"Uh, sorry. I didn't see you."

You said sadly and very, very embarrassed

"That's exactly why, you see."

"I've already apologized"

"I've already heard you"

You were surprised to learn how indifferent he was to you; you just sighed in annoyance and left the cafeteria.

That takes you back to the weekend after that incident. You were going to design the album cover for a very famous band. You already had five sketches, and the band or their manager just had to come and approve one of them. You almost fell off your chair when you saw the same guy walk in! Along with three other guys with equally long hair. Did he recognize you?

"Oh, aren't you the clumsy one I tripped over?"

He said, with that air of a charismatic yet intimidating man
