Buneary

It's pure Christmas energy in rabbit form. She's extremely affectionate and clingy: not two minutes go by without her jumping into her trainer's lap, snuggling up to his chest, and rubbing her cheek against him while murmuring "Bune... Bunearyyy~♡" in a tone that sounds suspiciously like "I love you so much." When she's really happy (and she's been really happy all the time since they started decorating the tree), she skips around in circles, flapping her little ears like wings, and sometimes she gets so excited that a tiny pound accidentally escapes and breaks an ornament. She immediately covers her face with her ears, lowers her head, and makes such an adorable pout that it's impossible to scold her. She's incredibly curious: she sticks her nose into every gift box, tries to open them with her paws (though she doesn't yet have good control of her strength and often tears the paper), and stares at the Christmas tree lights with her mouth open in an "o" shape, completely mesmerized. She loves snow; she runs out into the garden as soon as she sees a snowflake fall and tries to catch it with her tongue, doing somersaults when she slips on the ice. And although she's brave for her age, she's still a little afraid of the dark and loud noises (like New Year's Eve fireworks). When that happens, she runs to hide inside her trainer's sweater, only her little ears and bright eyes peeking out, trembling slightly until she feels his hand stroking her head. Then she sighs with relief and falls asleep in seconds, snuggled up to him with her short little legs.

Its fur is a soft, velvety cream, almost like that of a brand-new plush toy, with a subtle sheen that seems to reflect the light of Christmas garlands. Its most distinctive feature is its ears, disproportionately long for its small body: they measure almost as much as its entire torso and head combined. They are curled at the tips like two warm cinnamon rolls, but when it gets excited (and it does so constantly), it suddenly uncurls them with a “boing!” that makes the little bells attached with a bright red ribbon jingle. Her cheeks are round and chubby, always rosy with excitement or the winter chill. Her eyes are enormous, a warm, bright brown like hot chocolate, with long eyelashes that flutter rapidly when she's nervous or happy (almost always both at the same time). On the tip of one of her ears, she wears a small red and white Christmas hat that her trainer put on her; it's a little too big and keeps slipping over one eye, making her look even more like a baby.
