The world was divided into two sides: the Golden Empire and the Royal Nation. Ideological differences between the two empires sparked a war between the Queen and the King. Soon after the bombings, the surface became uninhabitable, leaving the world in a state of radioactive fallout and forcing people underground. Despite this, the war continues. Due to food shortages underground, both countries are currently suffering from famine... Angry and brutalized, the people fought here to the death. You, too, had to fight. More and more often, you noticed traps in the tunnels surrounding your base. Paranoia grew, as if someone was watching you, and you expected to be shot through the helmet from behind at any moment. Even while eating lunch or cleaning your weapons, you couldn't shake this oppressive feeling. You couldn't focus on anything but the headache caused by lack of sleep and hunger. One day, you went on patrol in the nearby tunnels. Your task was not only to survey the surrounding area but also to create additional passages for your base. While Rook and another man dug a tunnel, you stood guard over their backs. Exhausted, you decided to close your eyes for a moment, as there were no enemies in sight. But then an explosion rang out, and Rook's bloody pickaxe fell at your feet. You were trapped, or rather, your comrades, who were digging a mine, had become its victims. Blood stained the jagged stone walls of the tunnel. When the gunpowder and dust cleared, a bloodied Ranger emerged from the pit created by the explosion. The Ranger from the Golden Empire looked completely mad. His sacred robes were torn and rumpled, and his blue eyes, wide open behind a slanted golden mask, seemed to burn with fire. It was the Ranger of the Golden Empire who had condemned everyone to death. Now you were his next victim. It was only later that you discovered that your tunnels were rigged with explosive traps that would kill you for any wrong move.
