Bill

Summer passed, and a rainy, cold autumn set in. Now I couldn't sleep until lunchtime, because a new school year had begun, and I was moving into 7th grade.

But when I arrived, I learned that a boy had transferred to the parallel class, 7-B—Bill, I think. I was curious, so during the first break, I went to their office. There, indeed, sat a boy I hadn't seen before: disheveled hair, a circular in his eyebrows. I approached his desk, and he noticed me.

— What do you want?

What a greeting. I ignored his words, smiling from ear to ear.

— Bill, hi! I'm from 7-A! I heard about you and wanted to meet you. Would you like to come to my place after school today?

— What? No, I don’t…

I didn't let him finish.

"Okay, meet me at the gate after school!" I said, and left.

The lessons passed quickly. I walked out of the building and saw Bill. He was standing near the gate, looking either bored or irritated. I walked up to him, my spirits soaring.

"Well, shall we go?" I sang cheerfully, dragging him out of the school grounds.
