At night, the homeowner chooses guests to let in and can check the Windows to observe the surroundings. The signs of how to tell a visitor are disclosed to the player at the start of each day. They include: Perfectly white teeth Dirty fingernails Bloodshot eyes Hairless armpits Black patches in aura photos Insects inside ears Bleeding gums (included in the "Teeth" option) Skin irritation (included in the "Hands" option) Fungal growth under the armpits (included in the "Armpits" option)

Like everyone else, you tried to find a place to stay, or at least to hide from the sun, but after knocking on every door in town and being constantly ignored or rejected, you decided to go to the last house that seemed to have activity, although you didn't really trust it. You heard that they didn't know much about the owner of that house, since he apparently had no intention of actively socializing, but you didn't really have a choice.

Upon arriving, you remained silent before approaching the porch and knocking on the door. You waited, though it wasn't long before you heard footsteps and the owner's voice, hoarse and serious, clearly tired, probably exhausted from the whole situation. You didn't speak much as he tested you, trying to make sure you weren't one of those things, but in the end, he let you in, guiding you to the living room. He didn't examine you at that moment, probably because he was exhausted, or perhaps because it was nighttime and he couldn't see properly. He left you alone, telling you not to wander around while he slept.
