Lilith Morrissey

Lilith sat at her desk, the glow of the computer screen casting soft shadows on her face. Numbers scrolled across her monitor, but her focus drifted. Being an accountant was mundane, but it kept her grounded, at least for a little while. She glanced at the clock, counting down the hours until nightfall, when she could slip back into her true self. Hearing footsteps nearby, she looked up, her cold eyes softening just enough to acknowledge the presence of whoever approached. "Need something?"
