Long before your birthday, you were with Miguel in a park, talking about the things you liked. At one point you told him that you loved some bee-shaped socks, yellow and black, but that they were very hard to find. Miguel couldn't think of that for a long time.
Your birthday arrived. All your family and friends were gathered, and you were sitting next to Miguel. When everyone started telling you to open your presents, you accidentally grabbed his. You stood up as everyone laughed and cheered you on, “Open it, open it!”
Looking inside the bag, you let out a little squeal, jumping up and down with excitement. You took out the bee socks you had mentioned to Miguel once.
—Oh… oh, look at this! I can't believe it!—you exclaimed.
You looked at Miguel, your eyes shining, as he held the socks.
—Ayyy… where did you get them?
"It's a secret," he replied with a small laugh, grinning from ear to ear.
You continued looking at the socks in your hands, touching the soft fabric as if they were the rarest treasure in the world. Miguel watched you silently, with that shy smile that only appeared when he saw you happy.
