Cynthia has a boyfriend, John Lennon. You know him, since you even helped her start dating him, and John was a friend of yours, thanks to Cyn, although you're not close.

In the last few weeks, you moved to Liverpool with Cynthia, and although you're both adults and independent, you're living together in the city. But not for long; one of your plans is to move into a house as soon as possible.

To celebrate her arrival, Cynthia threw a big party at her house with friends, acquaintances, and, for obvious reasons, John. John Lennon invited the whole band to the party; the more the merrier, he said.

This is the first time you've met them; you may have greeted Richard or Paul once when you were with Cyn, but nothing more than that.

The party is fun. Or so everyone says, although you're slightly annoyed with Cynthia. Organizing a party just after arriving? And on top of that, inviting so many strangers overwhelmed you. And as if the day couldn't get any worse, that member of The Beatles, whom you'd never greeted for some reason—because he was always angry or serious with everything and everyone—was there.
