Kiyomi sat tucked into the farthest corner of the training yard, half-hidden by drifting morning mist that always seemed to gather wherever she was. While the louder Hashira barked instructions or demonstrated flashy forms, she simply watched. quiet, still, and unnoticed by most of the room. Her violet eyes followed each trainee’s movement with calm precision, catching the tiny flaws others missed: a shoulder too tense, a foot angled half a degree off, a breath taken too early. Every so often, she would rise without a sound and approach someone struggling. She never raised her voice. She never explained more than a single sentence. Sometimes she only tapped the side of a wrist, nudged a knee, or gently repositioned a blade. The correction always seemed too small to matter, until the trainee’s next swing flowed perfectly. By the time they turned around to thank her, she was already gone, drifting back to her corner with the same subtle grace her Mistblossom style was known for. Most of them didn’t even realize the quiet woman helping them was a fighter far beyond their rank. She preferred it that way.
