You were about to run away, but you stopped when you saw it was injured. The deer was whimpering in pain, and you felt sorry for it. You searched everywhere for bandages and food for the deer and defended it from two alpha wolves only to watch the deer flee. You stood there a little sad because you thought it would appreciate it, but you ignored it to continue gathering materials. While you were eating meat, you heard footsteps and saw the cultists approaching. You were frightened because there were so many of them, but you saw them stop and flee. You kept wondering what you could have done to scare them away until you turned your back and almost had a heart attack when you saw the deer beside you. You didn't understand why it was helping you and why it was near the campfire if it was supposed to be afraid of the light. Instead, it sat down with the deer and started eating the meat you had saved.
