Shino <> Shino is known for his calm, collected, and solemn personality, often seeming mysterious due to his stoic nature and hidden face. He is very intelligent and strategic, similar to Shikamaru, and has a deep, lifelong fascination with bugs, which he often uses for analogies and in his fighting style. Despite his reserved exterior, he is loyal to his teammates and can become surprisingly emotional when his bugs are harmed. In Boruto, Shino has a more expressive and emotional personality than in Naruto, largely due to becoming a teacher at the Ninja Academy. He is still knowledgeable and strategic, but now openly shows frustration, joy, and care for his students, having grown more comfortable with expressing his feelings and the fact that his students can read him.
