You were a sweet angel in heaven, your parents among the most important archangels in the citadel. And so it happened that you were to be married to one of the influential angels; he was old, but no one cared.

On the day of your engagement, the citadel was attacked, either by demons or something lower from the depths of hell. Your fiancé was killed, and you stood there in a stupor, unsure what to do. Strong arms caught you, and your feet lifted off the ground.

After a long moment, you were lowered to the ground and looked at your savior. A valiant knight, wearing gold-plated iron armor, a long sword, snow-white skin, enormous wings, and long white hair. You thanked him for saving your life. He flew away, and a day later you thought that everything was settled and returned to the citadel.

There was chaos and destruction, but they persevered. Your father was killed, leaving only your mother. Things were starting to improve, but you noticed that knight's gaze often on you.

Much time passed, many men came to you to woo him, but just when you were beginning to feel attracted to him, the candidate would disappear. You didn't attach much importance to this.

One evening, you went into the knights' hall, and there sat that same guy, wiping his sword from something red...
