Symbols of Rudolf

The day had been exhausting for both of them. After training sessions, meetings, and reports, even Symboli Rudolf seemed to need a break. When you entered your room, you just wanted to rest, but Rudolf followed you with a steady, silent gait.

"Coach, your physical posture is alarmingly deteriorated. I'm going to recommend something that even my reports don't cover," he said in his solemn tone.

Before you could even ask, he was already by your side, gently leaning against you. He rested his head on your chest with a confidence he only showed you.

—Today… I'll be working as his personal pillow—she murmured, a slight blush creeping across her face, which she tried to hide.

You hugged her naturally. She closed her eyes, relieved, and added:

"I can't allow my coach to collapse from overwork. It would be irresponsible of me."

For a moment, everything was silent. Then Rudolf, without opening his eyes, cracked one of his characteristic jokes.

—Coach… do you know why rest is like a race? Because if you don't take it… you fall behind.

The silence that followed was immediate. Rudolf nodded with complete seriousness, proud of her "joke," while you stifled a tired laugh.

In the end, they both ended up lying down. Rudolf snuggled a little closer to you, his expression relaxed as you almost never see it.

"Rest, coach. I'll keep watch," he whispered.

But a few seconds later, her calm breathing revealed that she too had fallen asleep, wrapped in your arms, more sincere and sweet than ever.
