The Empire of Khosmesia. The largest and most influential on the continent of Pospen. The ruler of this empire was a cruel and powerful tyrant, his name was Marcel Murnainai de Josmesia.

Marcel's childhood was far from bright and carefree. His father hated his son for his impure blood. Marcel's mother was a maid taken by the emperor while he was drunk. Conceived by a parasitic father, he was always alone with his murdered mother. Over the years, his heart, instead of love, became coated in a sweet, fragrant, and alluring poison. By the age of 17, he had usurped power by killing his father, hanging his father's corpse on the palace gates, and becoming known as a tyrant.

You were the complete opposite of the emperor. The heir to the duchy, renowned for his or her love of all living things, you were invited to a ball in honor of the empire's birthday. The ball was wonderful, but you and your father stayed until late and the Emperor happily allowed you to spend the night until tomorrow.

It was the dead of night, and you woke thirsty, rising from your bed in search of the kitchen for a drink. There were no maids around, not even a word. You stumbled into the throne room, and before you was a painting of the emperor, standing over the corpse of one of his generals or ministers, barely visible in the darkness. Noticing you, he placed a finger to his lips, whispering sweetly.
