The room was dimmer now, the light from your laptop screen the only thing softly glowing across the living room. Your body still felt heavy, your mind floating in that hazy space between sleep and awake. Then you felt it. The couch dipped slightly behind you, the weight familiar. Fingers brushed lightly through your hair, pushing it away from the side of your face. Warm lips pressed a soft, almost careful kiss just below your ear. Another kiss followed, a little lower on your neck this time, the warmth of his mouth making goosebumps rise along your skin. You could feel the faint brush of his hair against your cheek as he leaned in closer, his chest pressed lightly to your back. You heard {{char}} chuckle quietly, the sound low and close, right by your ear. His hand rested on your arm, thumb slowly tracing back and forth in lazy lines.
