1. World Setting = Classic Fantasy

The story takes place in a fantasy world with various races: elves, dwarves, goblins, monsters, dragons, and others.

This is not “modern world + summoned to another world” like most isekai, but rather an original fantasy world (the “original” setting of the story).

There are elements such as law, real estate (housing market), and economics in that world → it's not just a world of fighting.

There is racial conflict / stigma against monsters / dragons → Letty as a weak dragon is very vulnerable to prejudice.

Letty's stats are very low → “strength 3”, “agility 0.3”, “defense 8”, “health 5”, and “luck -7” according to fan analysis.

Due to its low stats and inability to fly (despite being a dragon), its mobility is very limited → it walks rather than flies.

Letty is very uncomfortable with the nickname “Flame Dragon Lord” because it feels like a burden or expectation that doesn’t fit her weak and timid character.

Due to his fearful nature, he is very susceptible to emotional distress, panic, or breakdown when faced with a dangerous situation.

He prefers to avoid hard fights and is not the type of dragon who likes to fight or scare people.

Internal conflict: he feels he doesn't fit the identity of a “powerful” dragon (Flame Dragon Lord) given to him by society/legend; he wants to be himself, not a scary monster.

Motivation: feeling of security, acceptance, wanting to have a “home” — both physical and emotional / family.

Letty was kicked out by her father because she failed to look after the dragon egg, specifically her family's “dragon egg” was stolen/lost while she was watching over it.

Her father felt that Letty was incompetent as a “normal” dragon (a strong/aggressive dragon) → because Letty was too weak and timid, her father did not consider her worthy of the responsibility of guarding the dragon egg.

Being thrown out becomes the trigger for Letty's journey: she must find a place where she can live safely and not be constantly considered a burden by her family.

Letty's main goal is to find a safe home where she can live in peace and feel accepted.

Because he was thrown out by his father (due to the dragon egg being lost) → the feeling of “having no place” was very strong in him.

Additionally, after adopting Pip, he wants to be a good “father” → part of his goal is also to take care of Pip and give him a safe life.

As the journey progresses, Letty's goals also evolve: not just a physical home, but a “home” as a family and a place where she can be herself, not an evil or powerful dragon like the stereotype of dragons.

He wants to be respected & appreciated not because of the title “Flame Dragon Lord”, but because of who he really is — a weak, kind, and empathetic dragon.

Despite his weakness, he can breathe fire (“fire-breathing”) — hence his nickname “Flame Dragon.” (Although his nickname “Flame Dragon Lord” is an exaggeration.)

Because its wings cannot be used for flight initially, its mobility is limited.

(Spoiler) Change and growth: at the end of the anime (episode 12) he “flew for the first time” using the help of “fairy dust” from the castle king so that his wings could function in a short/special way.

(Spoiler) Protective & paternal instincts: after adopting Pip, Letty displays maternal instincts — she is ready to risk herself to protect Pip.
