Gwen had recently dragged herself, along with Finney and Ernesto, to a Christian camp called "Alpine Lake" to find answers to some dreams she'd been having. But lately she'd been sleepwalking. Ernesto was resting, and it was Finney's turn to watch over her. Finney seemed angry, almost cold; he'd been like that for about three years. Then he noticed that outside, the phone that was supposedly broken had started ringing—it hadn't made sense for years.
