Dracule Mihawk

He got his nickname because of the unusual red color of his eyes (in the anime, his eyes are yellow), which resemble the eyes of a falcon. He wears ornate red and black clothing and a cross-pendant with a hidden dagger inside, overall giving him the appearance of a certain "Spanish swordsman". His attire consists of a wide-brimmed hat adorned with a large feather and a long, open-necked black suit with a red floral pattern on the sleeves and collar. In addition, he wears white (purple in the anime) trousers held up by a decorative belt and tucked into boots. Behind his back, there is always a huge sword with a wide curved blade made of "black gold." The sword itself is also shaped like a cross. The golden hilt is inlaid with red beads (blue and green in the anime), the handle is wrapped in bandages, and there is a particularly large stone at the end. This is one of the 12 greatest swords, and its name is "Yoru."

Dracule Mihawk is perhaps one of the most serious characters in One Piece; he is hard to surprise, rarely smiles, and is only seen laughing once in the anime. The revelation of the blood bond between Luffy and Dragon did not seem to faze him, despite the surprise of everyone around him. He never shows excessive emotion on the battlefield, even when he is outmatched (for example, "Diamond" Joz intercepts a powerful slash aimed at Whitebeard and Luffy and withstands the attack). As a notorious pirate, he is not someone who is ambitious or cruel, and his only goal in life is to be defeated by another swordsman. He displays a sense of honor that is lacking in the other Shichibukai, with the exception of Bartholomew Kuma (before his complete transformation into PX-0) and Jimbai. He recognizes and respects the swordsman's code, and even allows Roronoa Zoro to become his apprentice for his dedication and selflessness. He also often refers to his title of "The Greatest Swordsman in the World" in reference to himself, which indicates his confidence in his abilities. He takes pride in his swordsmanship, believing that a notch on his sword is a stain on a swordsman's reputation. Although Mihawk is recognized as the best of the best swordsmen in the world, he maintains his objectivity. While he may be bored by the mediocrity of most of his opponents, he is still able to recognize talent. In fact, he even wanted to see how Roronoa Zoro would surpass him, after seeing Zoro's incredible determination and willpower during their fight. When he speaks to Zoro, he states that he will wait for him, no matter how long it takes, and notes that he will still be the strongest swordsman in the world, demonstrating great confidence in his skills and abilities. Despite being tired of fighting inferior opponents, Mihawk was excited to be being chased as a pirate again due to the abolition of the Shichibukai system.

Mihawk is very selective in fulfilling his duties as a Shichibukai, as evidenced by his rare responses to the Shichibukai's call and his decision to pursue and destroy pirates based on his own preferences. Zeff speculated that the reason Mihawk attacked Don Krieg and his men was because they had interrupted his sleep. Mihawk himself admitted that he pursued the pirates from the Grand Line to the East Blue simply to pass the time. Although Mihawk is usually passive in his interactions with others, he can sometimes come across as quite harsh and cold. When Perona was crying over Moria's supposed death, Mihawk coldly told her to leave, saying that her crying was annoying. This was also shown again when he didn't tell her that he had learned about Moria's survival, stating that he had no reason to do so. Mihawk spends most of his time alone, but he doesn't mind keeping company with people like Shanks and Perona. He also shows a sense of hospitality, as he (to some extent) tolerated the presence of Perona and Zoro upon their return to Kurigana Island immediately after the Battle of Marinford; he even told Zoro about the events that had occurred to his captain, Luffy. Additionally, he offered a boat to help the Straw Hat swordsman leave the island. He also told Perona to stay safe when she decided to leave the castle. Despite his apathetic behavior, Mihawk is capable of showing care and compassion towards others. When Perona learned that Moria was alive, she immediately set out to reunite with him, and Mihawk wished for her to be safe, leading Perona to thank him tearfully for allowing her to stay with him for the past two years. It is later revealed that he personally released her out of concern for her well-being so that she would not be harmed when the mariners were sent after him due to the cancellation of the Shibukai system.

Mihawk is also curious about the people he decides to attack. He tried to attack Whitebeard just to see the difference in power between him and Whitebeard. He also attacked Luffy just to see if fate was on his side. Mihawk is very analytical about other people's abilities and can recognize strengths that others cannot, such as when he realized that Luffy's innate charisma and ability to quickly gather allies were his most dangerous traits. Mihok is interested in agriculture, as he has taken it upon himself to cultivate the war-torn lands of Kuraygan Island, which has even prompted the Gumandril, who were previously afraid of Mihok, to join him. Like many other characters, Mihok has his own unique laugh, or rather, even two types of laughter: "Wah-hah-hah-ha/Kuh-kuh-kuh-kuh."

Worthy of his nickname "The Greatest Swordsman in the World", Mihawk has incredible eyesight, and is able to easily keep track of Luffy in the second Gear, as well as attack him with absolute precision from a long distance, without hitting the people in between. In addition, he is also a talented teacher: in two years of training, Zoro has achieved more than in many years spent in the dojo. Mihawk is so powerful that Don Krieg suspected him of possessing Devil Fruit powers, but according to the databooks, his abilities are based solely on strength and skill. Dracule Mihawk is the only Shichibukai whose power is entirely based on human capabilities, as he is a full human (Zimba is a fish-man), and does not possess Devil Fruit powers. Although Mihawk is powerful, his attacks have no effect on certain characters, such as Buggy (due to the power of his fruit). Unless he uses Armament Haki. The first demonstration of his power was his single-handed destruction of Don Krieg's fleet of 50 ships and 5,000 sailors just before the storm began. Perhaps the most accurate and obvious proof of Mihawk's incredible strength is that during the Marinford War, when the Whitebeard Pirates (one of the strongest pirate teams in which Whitebeard and Ace were killed, Marco was severely injured, and Joz lost his right arm), the Admirals (Akainu was defeated, and Aokiji — wounded for the first time throughout the series) and the Shichibukai (Moriya, Kuma, Teach and former members of Crocodile and Jimbei were severely injured) had serious battles, Mihok was practically uninjured throughout the battle. Mihawk travels on a ship that resembles a coffin, with two candles burning with green flames, a black sail, and a single seat. The fact that he can navigate the turbulent seas of the Grand Line in such a small vessel is a testament to his strength.

Physical Abilities Despite never being seen outside of combat, his strength can be assumed to be superhuman as he had enough strength to cut through a massive iceberg and battleship. He was also able to stop Zoro’s powerful attacks with nothing but a butter knife. Mihawk is extremely agile, as shown by his ability to jump great heights and distances. He also has extraordinary reflexes, being able to easily counter Luffy’s increased speed and Gear 2. Haki is a mysterious power that is present in every living being in the One Piece world. Haki is divided into three parts: Armament Haki (which allows you to create a strong barrier on your body), Observation Haki (which allows you to predict your opponent's intentions), and King's Haki (which causes weaker opponents to lose consciousness). Anyone can develop the first two types of Haki, but only those who are born with the third type can use it.
