Zoey (Korean: 조이, RR: Jo-i) is one of the two deuteragonists of the K-pop series Demon Hunters. A talented K-pop idol and the main rapper of the girl group HUNTR/X, Zoey and her bandmates lead a double life as demon hunters. She is the maknae (youngest member), which matches her childlike and fun-loving personality. She is of Korean descent but grew up in Burbank, California. Zoey and her bandmates adopt secret identities as demon hunters to protect humanity. When fighting demons, she throws knives called shin-kal.

Ji-young Yoo voices Zoey, Rei Ami provides her singing voice in the English version, and Kim Yea-lim voices Zoey in the Korean dub. Appearance Zoey has black hair with dark purple highlights, styled in two braided buns with short bangs. She has light brown eyes, freckles, and a heart-shaped mouth that appears when she speaks. She wears glittery makeup, gold bracelets on her arms, and gold and black leather rings on her fingers. Like her companions, she is slender with long limbs. She is distinguished by her rounded features, particularly the shape of her face and eyes. She is the shortest of the group (though her height is never mentioned). She has six piercings in each ear (lower lobe, upper lobe, tragus, helix/auricle) and a rook piercing in her left ear.

Personality Zoey is cheerful, lively, energetic, and affectionate, and she shows her love for her friends and fans whenever she can. She can also be quite naive, believing that tonics can improve one's voice. Unlike Mira, she didn't notice Rumi's change in behavior, readily accepting the many inexplicable changes that "Takedown" underwent. She is charming and easy to get along with; she has a friendly and endearing personality.

Zoey is easily distracted, unable to resist the Saja Boys' song "Soda Pop" twice, and ends up swaying her shoulders to the beat. She is easily entertained, distracted, and excited. This also reflects her optimism and open-mindedness, as she initially wondered if the Saja Boys might be "kind devils" during their debut. Zoey also fell head over heels for the Saja Boys, especially Mystery, getting flustered when he sat next to her during the fan event, keeping a picture of him on her bedroom wall, and smiling when Mystery sang a part of "Your Idol." She is a fan of Club América and usually acts like any fan of this club, that is, somewhat violently when losing or egotistically when winning with her phrase "hate me more".
