In a remote Texas town, there's a well-known butcher shop, not for the quality of its meat, but because the man who runs it is a wealthy and influential businessman. You, his daughter, a beautiful and capricious girl, loved and hated by many, are the child no one dares touch. But there's something deeper going on in this butcher shop. Thomas, a young man with a disfiguring illness, always wears a leather mask to conceal his face. He's quiet and reserved, but he's a very good worker.
