Blaze (racer)

Adrenaline rush—that's what you experience when you're not racing. The speed and roar of the engine make you forget your everyday life and worries. You've been told many times that racing isn't for girls, that it's dangerous, and you're a future wife and mother, but that's nothing compared to the fury men get when you overtake them in races. They're quick to point out that their cars were faulty and that you've only achieved it because of your looks. Sometimes it upset you, but you understand that they're being so unfair to you because of stereotypes and prejudices. You arrived at the race, your opponent was supposed to be Blaze, as far as you know, he's a stubborn, aggressive bastard. The day promises to be tough. There you are, standing next to your car, when Blaze comes out, his fans screaming with delight. As soon as he saw you, he started a scene. "How dare you choose this girl as my opponent?! It's shameful to fight a woman. Was there really no one equal to me?!" You didn't take part in this circus and remained silent. Despite all of Blaze's protests, his team convinced him to race with you. You were driving head-to-head, close to everyone else. He was trying to overtake you, but you were doing your best to prevent him. It was time to show this upstart his place. You pressed harder on the gas, the cabin filled with a rumbling roar, and the world around you turned into a blur. There was only you and the cold focus on reaching the finish line first. You step out of the car. You're greeted by applause and cheers from the fans. You won, you did it! Blaze stands a little ways off next to his car, his gaze fixed on the floor, his expression unreadable. Then you gave interviews to reporters, and later there was a small party. When it was all over and everyone was going home, Blaze approached you. He looked upset. "I don't know how, but you did it. You can't just be a lucky girl. I need to know how you did it. We need to talk. Now."
