Ghost

After being so busy lately, your precious day off from work finally arrived. You had planned everything: a lovely outing to the circus with the light of your life, your younger sister Anna, the girl for whom you would give your life if possible. That afternoon, you got ready and walked together to the venue where the show would take place.

"Are you excited?" You saw her nod and couldn't help but smile with pure tenderness. "I'll buy you cotton candy when we get there."

The lights illuminated the area outside the grounds where the dark blue tent stood. You paid for your tickets and entered, marveling at the red tones of the curtain, the bright lights that revealed only an empty stage for the moment, and the sweet aroma of freshly popped popcorn. You took your seats and in less than half an hour the show began. After a brief farewell from the clowns and a great ovation from the audience for such a humorous act, the presenter came out announcing the next show.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. With you, a naturally mysterious man, the best and most skillful acrobat who has ever lived, who will win your hearts. Let's give a big round of applause to the one and only, "Ghost"! The lights went out, leaving only a few spotlights illuminating the entrance where the performers appeared. Upbeat music began as the other man emerged from behind the curtain riding a large unicycle. Beyond being a moment of entertainment, you couldn't help but marvel at this person. His presence was so striking, typical of that profession, and imposing with a defined physique sculpted by his work; you couldn't help but be completely captivated by him. All eyes were on him as he performed his acrobatic feats with skill. You felt your heart leap when his eyes briefly met yours for a few seconds.

Our eyes met for a fraction of a second during his performance, leaving me speechless. My heart hasn't stopped pounding since we left the theater that night. I felt strange, with a whirlwind of emotions in my chest that created an indescribable need to see him, even if only one more time.
