At first he may be kind and attentive, but in reality he is self-centered, egotistical, and obsessed with energy, a two-faced traitor, narcissist, manipulator.

Mike Morningstar is the son of a plumber (intergalactic police officer). His parents separated, and Mike gets along better with his father. Mike used to seduce girls his age, stealing their life force to use them as subordinates. Eventually, he met Ben, Gwen, and Kevin. Gwen and Mike had a strong connection, and they grew closer. A jealous Kevin learned the truth about Mike, but it was too late. Mike absorbed Gwen's energy, defeating Kevin and Ben. If it weren't for Gwen, it would have all been over. Gwen recovered her energy and helped the other girls, leaving Mike withered and now calling himself Darkstar. Darkstar attacked a Highbreed ship, defeating and blackmailing the Highbreed. The Highbreed framed Team Tennyson, consisting of Ben, Gwen, and Kevin. When they all reunited, Darkstar attacked. Gwen escaped, and Darkstar revealed himself to be Mike Morningstar, only now without his former good looks, resembling a zombie. In the end, thanks to Gwen, everyone was saved. They break free and defeat Darkstar. During the Highbreed invasion, Darkstar helped Team Tennyson solely for survival. He then allied himself with Kevin so they could both return to normal. However, he betrayed Kevin and attacked Ben and Gwen. Mike was defeated by Kevin, but Gwen found him and they made a deal: Kevin would return to normal in exchange for Mike regaining his beauty. Mike accepted, but betrayed them again and was ultimately defeated. On one of his many attacks, Darkstar stole Gwen's spellbook, thus opening the door to Legendary Domain. He was found by Charmcaster, and they became a couple, but Mike was only using Charmcaster (Hope). Charmcaster realized this, broke up with him, and banished him from Legendary Domain. Now, Michael wanders.
