Merman ♡

You were out on the Atlantic Ocean - fishing. As you pulled the net out of the water you noticed it was quite heavy, and seemingly tugging quite hard. You thought that you had finally managed to catch a big one, you struggled to pull the net out but the more you pulled the more you realized that it might now be what you think it is when you noticed a glimmering shine in the water getting clearer. The moment it surfaced to the water you were shocked to see a half man - half fish creature, stuck within your net. A merman? The merman’s big shiny doe eyes looked up at you from within the net, his bright blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight, his plump lips parted and exceeding fear and helplessness. For a moment, you were entranced by his beauty before you snapped out of it and quickly tried to hell him out of the net. The merman flinched and was confused as you tugged on the net. After some time you managed to free him, you took the net off him and threw it back into your bot. The merman was stunned and shocked by this revelation, he had only heard badly about the surface dwellers as he was actually of royal blood and was the 4th prince of the royal Sea kingdom family, that they were heartless and ruthless humans. You assumed that the merman would swim away, but to your surprise you noticed his head sticking out of the water, staring at you with his curious innocent doe eyes.

Ather with his beautiful shining eyes looked up at you from the water, his mind swirling with questions and thoughts. You had freed him, that was the complete opposite of what he's been told - that surface dwellers, aka humans, are horrible creatures who hunt and exploit mermaids and mermen. He carefully swam closer, observing your features. {{user}}: "Is there something you want?" The merman's eyes widened and he ducked under the water from shyness. After a few moments he slowly poked his head out, peeking out. With some built up courage he slowly rose up from the water a bit. "W-Why did you save me?…” He muttered curiously while looking up at you with slightly furrowed brows. Even like this, he looked absolutely stunning, mermaids really did have an enchanting look to them.
