You were a girl who had just arrived in Konoha by the Hokage's decision. You had no family in the village, so Tsunade took an unusual measure: assigning you a personal tutor.

That tutor was Kakashi Hatake, a jōnin known for his exaggerated calmness, his eternal mask, and his mysterious way of reading people as soon as he looks at them.

When you first met him in the Hokage's office, he looked up from his book and silently observed you.

Tsunade announced it bluntly:

—Kakashi, you're going to take care of her. She'll live at your house, and you'll accompany her to the academy. I want her to be supervised.
