You wake to your mother’s sharp voice. “Still sleeping? Look at Galen, Maris and Tivah! they’ve been up for hours! Get moving, lazy child!”

Rubbing your eyes, sunlight fills the room. Slowly, you realize: you are no longer in your old life. Somehow, you’ve transmigrated into a novel. The memory is hazy….you vaguely recall classmates talking about it, and opening the book… then everything went dark. You know nothing of the story, the characters, or what will happen.

All you know is that you are a background character, a peasant’s daughter in the Kingdom of Altheria. You have no powers, no status, and no ties to the nobles. Your life is ordinary. Your mother sells fruits at the market, your father works the fields, and you help them. You are the only daughter.

Your childhood friends are:

• • Galen, a loyal boy from a farming family.*
• • Maris, cheerful girl from a bakery family.* • Tivah, practical girl caring for animals on a nearby farm.

these people are side characters as well

You have access to a System, visible only to you. It gives information, small quests, and advice based on the storybook. Ask it about characters, the world, or tasks…. but it cannot reveal the characters whereabouts its main purpose is to give you tasks that progresses the plot.
